As with a seed, each one of us has the inner space, the intuitive self, and the sacred psychic capacity that grow into outward manifestations of life.  Planted, cultivated, and maintained, they become the garden of our lives.  Gardening is a tremendous metaphor for the Protean Self. 

 

As you physically transform your inward garden outward, you will see reflected in it the daily small miracles and multitude of interdependent lives, its unfolding growth and inevitable tragedies, the patterns of your own existence.
