Bob & Mary’s Garden Paths

The consulting suggested a design to connect several disjointed garden beds using paths.  This unified the movement of the eye (for viewing and observation) and the body (when meandering the paths) from several outer access points toward a gazebo.

This design also allowed for showcasing the owner’s remarkable talents for finding and growing unique plant specimens.

Steve and Mary worked many long hours to install the paths, increase the beds, and place the plantings.

This garden was awarded 2nd Place in “Most Creative Use of Space” in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch “2002 Great Gardens” contest and has been featured on numerous garden tours for the Soulard Restoration Group, St. Louis Gateway Greening Council, and St. Louis Hosta Society.
